Car Rental in Reunion Island

Conditions to get the vehicle

To be able to rent a car in Reunion, the driver must present himself in our agencies with these conditions:

• Be over 21 years old 

• Present the original of his driving license obtained at least since 1 year

• Come with a credit card (for the deposit)

How much is the deposit ?

When you rent a car from Jumbo Car, you have to pay a deposit that corresponds to the amount of the Accident Deductible. Depending on the car you rent, the amount of the deposit can vary from 600€ to 1200€.  When you sign the contract, the counter agent will block the amount of the deposit on your credit card. The amount is not debited but just blocked. When the vehicle is returned, the deposit will be automatically released.

If on the other hand, damage is found on the car, the deposit will be cashed while an expert evaluates the cost of the work. The difference between the amount of the deposit and the amount of the work will of course be returned to you.

Payment in several times

With Jumbo Car, you can pay your reservation in 2 or 3 times without fees under the following conditions:

• Make the reservation on the website

• Reserve your car at least 2 or 3 months before picking it up

The first payment is made the day you make your reservation online. The other payments are made 30 and 60 days after automatically. The total amount of the rental must be paid in full before the car is picked up.

Addition of conductors

You can add several additional drivers for 29€ per person.

The only condition is that they must be 21 years old and have 2 years of driving license.

Each additional driver must present themselves at the counter when picking up the vehicle with their driver's license (original only)
